It was well worth the 2.5 hr drive (my 2.5 hr drive is nothing compared to celebrities and other famous people from other countries who fly just to be seen by Dr. Tyler B.) This was my first time to try chiropractic adjustments. (I already met my deductibles, so it was covered by my medical insurance). I already know what to expect because I have been watching his chiro videos/reels—since I was already a fan of Dr. Tyler (because of Filipina celebrity, Francine Diaz) prior to making an initial appointment. I never had my bones cracked, though, so it was still different in reality compared to just watching his videos/reels. To be honest, I have a lot of complex medical conditions, and some of them are chronic. I addressed them all to Dr. Tyler. I noted that I do suffer from cervical stenosis and cervical spondylosis, so Dr. Tyler did some adjustments on my neck (cervical spine). Overall, he was still able to do several chiropractic adjustments in spite of my medical conditions. He truly knows what he is doing. He is renowned for a lot of reasons. He was also able to tell me if he can’t do a specific adjustment and as to why. From the get go, Dr. Tyler made me feel comfortable and thus, I was able to trust him fully. The cracks were amazingly smooth and spot on. Dr. Tyler warned me that my body will be sore the following day. Of course, the following day, my whole body was unbelievably sore until it just stopped that evening. After that, I felt so much better and it’s like nothing happened. The lingering pain on my neck prior to adjustments went away. Although I know my recommendation is not needed, I would still highly recommend Dr. Tyler B. I’ve been dealing with back pain and numbness due to a car accident, and it’s a great feeling to know that I have support in my recovery. This is the first time I’ve had a chiropractor show me the MRI scan pictures and pinpoint the areas on my lower back that needed attention. After checking in and having my results shown, I was taken into the warming up area, where I clearly felt the areas that needed adjusting. After being warmed up, I was adjusted from my neck down, relieving all the tension I had. With me just focusing on my lower back, it was great to know that Dr. Bigenho could analyze my posture and feel my joints, and take action to correct my neck without me revealing minor symptoms that I thought were attributed to stress. After the adjustments, I felt the relief on my lower back and the Y-strap decompression really helped get the relief I needed throughout my entire back. He was easy to book with his online system, and I was happy to get a spot within a week. The clinic was spotless and really new. I also just had a kid last year and let me tell you that at first the baby is light but they slowly get heavier and 10 months later they are huge. Carrying him, picking him up, and just letting him crawl all over me has done a number on me. It was time for some real help. I had been looking for a good chiropractor bc I knew I needed it but I didn't know who to trust with my back. I use my body for a living so its really important to me to find someone with a good reputation and knows what they are doing. Dr. Tyler explained what he was doing, evaluated my muscles first, loosened them up paying particular attention to repetitive movements I do as a dentist, and then really figured out what was going on with my spine. I was suffering from chronic back pain for weeks and went to multiple places nearby where I live in Los Angeles to get treatment. I tried acupuncture and two other chiropractors before, but no one was able to heal and treat my pain properly. After searching for other doctors, I found Dr. Tyler and even though he is located in Newport Beach, I had to try one of his treatments because the Y-Strap technique seemed interesting and beneficial for me. I've seen some chiropractors and they "adjusted" me (word used loosely) and had me out the door in less than 10 mins. And I barely felt any relief. Dr Bigenho is the BEST Chiropractor that has treated me, I had been in pain for over 3 months with most nights not being able to sleep and being in excruciating pain in the mornings when I get off of bed and to get on and off my vehicle, 100% of the day i was in pain and not being able to do any activities, I had steroid shots that would only help for a couple days at most and steroid pills and ibuprofen, muscle relaxers. Recently had an MRI and have a large L4 L5 herniated disk, the back specialist recommended epidural shot and that this is too large of a herniated disk and it will not just go away, if epidural doesnt help I should consider back surgery, I was loosing hope on being able to be functional and being able to play with my kids. I have seen Dr. Bigenho for 4 visits now and I am now without pain during the day and able to sleep, I am 80% better, Best thing about Dr Bigenho Is that he didnt just adjust me and move on to next patient like all other chiropractors I have visited, he listened recommended and guided me step by step on excercises , stretches, healthy eating advice. I recommend him to anyone even if you are far away, I drive 1 hour to see him instead of 5 min to my old chiropractors. He has done the Y Strap Adjustment on me and it has been Great. We recently had the opportunity to take my Grandma to go see Dr. Tyler Bigenho. And she immediately informed me she felt a very good vibe from Dr. Bigenho and felt comfortable from the start. My grandma has had spinal surgery and over the years has complain about pain in her hip and would walk with a small hunch in her back to try to alíviate the pain. Dr. Bigenho did was he does best and help alíviate the pain. My grandma instantly felt relieve and informed us her pain had tremendously gone down. While she was a bit sore the pain was more manageable. She was instructed to do a few simple exercises to get her muscles moving again. Which to our surprise has been doing them. But the transition to a desk life after college just made it worse. I have neck pain quite often. It used to be so bad that if I slept a certain way or without my Tempur-pedic pillow I would wake up with a migraine and my whole day would be ruined. Surprisingly, what landed me in his office wasn’t back pain or neck pain, but pain in my elbow that radiated down into my hand. My next visit was for hip pain, hip flexor to be specific (I am 27, not 87). At each of these visits he was very patient and asked various questions to find the true source of my pain. He ensured I completely understood my treatment options and answered each of my questions until I was comfortable with the approach we were taking. Dr. Bigenho went above and beyond to provide me with stretches and exercises that would allow me to continue improving my health and wellness long after I had left his office. While my first couple visits seem outside the typical range for chiropractic care (who knew your spine affected all parts of your body), the most recent visit was a bit different. I called Dr. Bigenho to schedule an appointment since I had a persistent headache lasting almost a week and knew that chiropractic care could help with headaches. He was able to accommodate my busy schedule, and by the time I reached the parking lot to return home, my headache was gone!! I have never experienced such complete and immediate relief that lasts! I work full-time and despite having a stand up desk at work, I still have neck, lower and mainly mid-back pain. I saw a video of the y strap and searched on google. Dr. Bigenho was the first result and his article was extremely helpful - I was sold. He adjusted me, checked to see if I needed the y strap and let me try a vibrating machine. Overall my experience was excellent and I'm definitely going to him from now on. I waited a week to post a review because I wanted to make sure that the good feeling lasted! P.S. I hurt my right shoulder at the gym a while back and after a couple of months the pain wouldn't go away. I had never seen a chiropractor before but I decided to give it a try. My friend recommended Dr. Tyler Bigenho in Huntington Beach and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I was a little nervous at first, but he made me feel comfortable and let me know exactly what he was going to do. He did a lot of painful deep tissue massage work and then aligned my neck and body back into place. After it was over, I felt more relaxed and gained a lot more mobility in my shoulder. Most importantly, he taught me exercises I can do at the gym so I can strengthen my shoulder back up. I would 100% recommend Dr. Tyler Bigenho to anyone looking for a chiropractor in OC. A friend recommended him to me after I pulled my back deadlifting. I scheduled an appointment, which was very easy as his schedule is quite flexible, and he quickly worked out any insurance/payment concerns I had. As an avid runner I find myself needing the care of a chiro often and he is the closest thing to a sports chiropractor I’ve ever been under the care of. My frequency of visits has gone down significantly compared to past chiropractors and I attribute this to his holistic life style minded approach. Our fitness levels are pretty equivalent which allows him to give me advice (that is actually useful) on stretching, fluid motions and body dynamics during activities. I’ve known Tyler for many years now from growing up going to school together and to see him in this field totally makes sense. I switched over from my family chiropractor 2 months ago to try it out with him and have been more than just impressed. His professionalism along with his passion and drive exceeded my expectations. Being an athlete, it’s hard to find someone who understands all that your body needs to recover and make you stronger and better. Tyler checks all of those boxes and makes sure I’m more then taken care of by the time I leave. He not only adjusts me, but he does cupping, physical therapy and even some training exercises to insure that I know what I can improve and strengthen on before I see him next. I saw videos of this Y strap thing on Youtube, and wanted to try it out. Found Dr Bigenho online and his reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to back pain/ fitness but he did a great job of explaining his process and how to avoid the pain. When he did the Y strap it was intense but it took away my pain! He was not pushy at all but I’ll definitely come back when I need it.
